The church has generously given us access to all the meeting areas we need on a Monday evening in order to be able to host the New Wine Training Partnership.
Classroom Facilities:
Our main hub room has been fully equipped with state of the art technology to allow fully integrated and seamless lectures and on line tutorials.
This room also is home to our library and is used as a silent study area during office hours Monday to Friday.
From September 2010 we will be utilising four upstairs rooms, all fully equipped for lectures, as we run two cohorts of students with graduates and undergraduates in both groups.
All the facilities of Christ Church will be available to any students who study with us, this includes photocopying (at a nominal charge per sheet), internet access and a church car park adjacent to the church with assigned disabled parking bays.
It is important to note that all our classrooms and our library are currently upstarts and we do not yet have diabled access via a lift. Please do contact us if theis will present problems for you as we may be able to provid an alternative solution.
Refreshment Facilities:
As a student you will have access to the kitchen for making drinks / snacks. We appreciate that on our Monday Hub night, many students come to us straight from work and have not had a chance to eat.
We provide drinks and fruit / biscuits during the evening, but would encourage you to bring with you some sandwiches or a snack as further sustenance! You will have access to a microwave should you wish to heat anything.
Our Vision for the Hampshire Hub:
Our heart is to see that every Christian in our region has access to quality theological education that they can engage with whilst remaining in their existing life space. We would love to see Christian people from multiple streams and denominations and of varying ages, socio-economic groups and backgrounds all coming together to learn in the context of a missional, worshipping community.
Seeing people equipped to be fully who they are; able to fully engage with their calling; and moving into a deeper and more purposeful intimacy with Jesus is what makes our hearts sing. Working with real questions and real life challenges but with wisdom from the Holy Spirit and theological rigour is a dynamic combination that is extremely exciting.
