LEARN BIBLICAL HEBREW ONLINE
If you would like to be able to read Biblical Hebrew, our online course will provide you with the basic facility to do just this.
The Hebrew course is delivered online through recorded lectures and relies heavily on self-study. Regular online meetups with Faculty will support you in your learning throughout the module. Attendance at a Residential is not required for this course.
This course is taught at L6 (final year of an undergrad degree). To be eligible, you should have a first degree in any subject. For those without a Bachelor’s degree, but with professional qualifications or relevant experience, please contact Sarah to discuss your eligibility.
INDIVIDUAL MA MODULES
If you cannot commit to the full MA programme (L7 – postgraduate), or you’ve already studied theology and see a module which interests you, you can study individual MA modules with WTC.
These modules can be registered with Chester (via a Record of Achievement) which means you receive official recognition for the studying and any credits gained can be used towards further study.
You will need to attend the relevant Residential(s) for the modules you are studying. You will also need to attend Hub Saturdays for your module in person. If you are unable to attend the day, our flexi-MA track gives you the option to receive a recording of the Hub-based teaching material after it has been delivered in Hubs.
To be eligible to study any modules at L7 (postgraduate level) you must have completed a Graduate Diploma, BA or the MA in theology/religious studies, either at WTC or at another academic institution.
The cost of studying MA modules varies depending on how many credits are studied and the number of Residentials you attend. See below:
If you wish to study more than one MA module this may be possible, but only if this works with the overall course timetable.
To apply for one or more MA modules, please email Sarah Burdett or Alex Collishaw indicating which module(s) you would like to study. For more than one module, they will confirm whether the combination you are wishing to study is possible.
See the descriptions of the individual modules on the MA course page.
