To celebrate the past 15 years, Dr Stephen Holmes, Head of Divinity at University of St Andrews, gave a public lecture on Biblicist Communities and Academic Theology: Towards Mutual Understanding. We had a wonderful time together, listening to Stephen speaking on the relationship between biblicist churches and academia, and particularly on not discrediting those churches and church founders who – for lack of formal theological education – do not formulate their beliefs using traditional theological ideas and terminology.
