UnderGraduate:

The CertHE is an excellent opportunity to explore the foundations of the Christian faith and to begin wrestling with some of the big questions of life.

Explore: Biblical Studies, Christian Beliefs, Leadership, Spirituality, and Mission.

Programme length: 2 years

The BA (Hons) offers a comprehensive study programme, building on theological foundations while engaging critically with Scripture and culture, and growing in leadership.

Explore: Biblical Studies, Christian Beliefs, Leadership, Spirituality, Church History, and more. Plus a Dissertation.

Programme length: 6 years

Our most popular programme! The Graduate Diploma in Kingdom Theology offers a great way to go deeper in theology and Scripture, and explore how the Kingdom of God shapes every area of life and ministry.

Explore: Biblical Studies, Christian Beliefs, Leadership, Spirituality, and Church History.

Programme length: 2 years

The Church Planting and Leadership Graduate Diploma equips those on the church planting journey, who are seeking deeper theological engagement to nourish their existing ministry.

Explore: Biblical Studies, Christian Beliefs, Professional Formation, Church Planting and Leadership.

Programme length: 2 years

PostGraduate:

The MA programme provides rigorous theological study with a distinct emphasis on the relevance of theology to all spheres of life.

Explore: Biblical Studies, Church History, Doctrine, Ethics, and Biblical Languages. Plus a Dissertation.

Programme length:
2 or 3 years + Dissertation

Non-Validated:

The Foundations in Kingdom Theology Course is ideal for those interested in going deeper into the Bible and theological studies.

Two options available:

LiveFC
Fully online, starting in September, live teaching by WTC Faculty with weekly discussions for individual students studying.

Church Edition FC
Curriculum of pre-recorded lectures by WTC Faculty designed for study by church groups. Local facilitators guide discussions and arrange course logistics.

Course length: 24 weeks

WTC's flexible teaching model

For validated programmes, the academic year begins in September with a 5-day intensive teaching block (Residential) for the whole college, at which you meet your Faculty, the WTC staff, and the other WTC students. Half of the curriculum is delivered during this and a second 4-day intensive teaching block (Residential) in early January.

The rest of the undergraduate programmes are taught at 20 Hub nights, in community, through the rest of the academic year (Sept – June).

Postgraduate students study at the two Residentials and on two/three MA Saturdays per year.

If English is not your first language, you would need one of the following:

• IELTS 6.0

• TOEFL 72

• International Baccalaureate A1, A2 (Standard or Higher) Grade 4

• International Baccalaureate B (Higher) Grade 4 OR

• International Baccalaureate B (Standard) Grade 5

If English is not your first language, you would need one of the following:

• International Baccalaureate A1, A2 (Standard or Higher) Grade 4

Transferring Credits to WTC

If you have already completed some theological study, you may be eligible to apply for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning). RPL means that any prior learning may be considered as credit towards your course. For all instances of RPL, please discuss your options with the WTC Registrar (registrar@wtctheology.org.uk).

All WTC courses are validated by Birmingham Newman University, so any credits you gain during your studies with WTC are transferable to other Higher Education Institutions.
