“We partner with WTC because their Hub-model means that people in all stages of life are able to study, and also because they understand what theological education is.”

Our West Midlands Hub is located in Aston, Birmingham as a partnership with three churches: Amblecote Community Church, Anchor Point Church (Betel) and Chawn Hill Church. These churches all share a vision of bringing life-giving kingdom theology to the local church.

The Hub meets weekly at Anchor Point Church, in a new suite of rooms. It has a space for worship, multiple rooms available for teaching, a small kitchen and the Hub library, all with disabled access. Just outside Birmingham’s clean air zone, the A38(M) or ring road give easy access by car, and Snow Hill and Aston rail stations are a short bus journey or taxi ride away.

Hub Director:

Reuben Williams West Midlands HD profile pic

Reuben Williams

Hi, my name is Reuben, and I am the Hub Director for the West Midlands Hub.

As a PK (pastor’s kid), I was raised in the church and around the things of God. However, it wasn’t until my teenage years that I truly fell in love with Jesus for myself. For many years, I led worship in my local church, where I developed a deep passion for both God’s presence and His people. At 18, during a church internship, I was given my first real window into theological study, and I was hooked immediately. This led me into both undergraduate and postgraduate study, which has been deeply transformative for me as both a person and a follower of Jesus.

I am passionate about seeing people encounter God through both His Word and His Spirit, which is exactly what WTC exists to facilitate.

If you’re interested, even just a little, I would love to connect with you over a coffee. Please do get in touch!
