The York Hub meets on Tuesday evenings between 6.30pm and 9.30pm.

For the first time, WTC has a Hub in the North East of England, which has been formed out of partnership with York Vineyard Church and York Community Church. We are very excited to see this Hub thrive and grow in the vibrant city of York.
York Vineyard Church‘s vision is to build a diverse 21st century church that is vibrant in worship and is ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit; a church that is cultivating relationships which provide a compassionate and inclusive environment; a church that is fun to be in and that is relevant for today.
York Community Church has been a witness for Christ in the east of York since November 1993. They are committed to seeing people encounter the love of God through Jesus Christ, and are therefore continuing to build wisely to increasingly become a place of discipleship, pastoral care, and mission.

Hi there, my name is Chimwemwe, or “Chee” is also fine!
I’m originally from Zambia and am currently studying Law at the University of York. My love for Jesus and His people drives everything I do, and I enjoy seeing how God moves in different spaces and with different types of people. Coming to the UK has been a wonderful opportunity to experience more of those beautiful moments. I have a special passion for intercessory prayer and worship, which fits especially well in my role as Hub Director, combining everything I love – praying, supporting, and connecting with others. I love contributing to Hub sessions and walking alongside students on their journeys. As they grow and learn, I’m growing too, and I’m excited for all that God has in store for us!
