Individual MA Modules
If you cannot commit to the full MA programme (L7 – postgraduate), or you’ve already studied theology and see a module which interests you, you can study individual MA modules with WTC.
Available MA Modules:
- Reading the Old Testament for the Church – Dr Freddy Hedley
- Luke and Acts – Prof Jason Myers
- Theology, Culture, and Politics in Early Christianity – Dr Amy Brown Hughes
- God through the Ages – Dr Jared Michelson
- Paul and the Spirit – Prof Ben Blackwell
- Christian Ethics for Discipleship and Witness – Dr Andrew Goddard
- Introduction to Biblical Languages – Dr Freddy Hedley and Prof Jason Myers
Programme Delivery
You will need to attend the relevant Residential(s) for the modules you are studying. You will also need to attend Hub Saturdays for your module either in person at a Hub or you have the opportunity to join online.
Eligibility
To be eligible to study any modules at L7 (postgraduate level) you must have completed a Graduate Diploma, BA or the MA in theology/religious studies, either at WTC or at another academic institution.
Cost
The cost of studying MA modules varies depending on how many credits are studied and the number of Residentials you attend. Please see Facts About Fees for details:
If you wish to study more than one MA module this may be possible, but only if this works with the overall programme timetable.

To apply for one or more MA modules, please email Sarah Burdett or Alex Collishaw indicating which module(s) you would like to study. For more than one module, they will confirm whether the combination you are wishing to study is possible.
